Butter Naan

Butter Naan is the most popular flatbread which is served with any veg or non-veg curry.

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

25 minutes
1/2 cup

curd

1/4 tsp

baking soda

1 tsp

sugar

2 tbsp

oil

2-3 tbsp

butter

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix all the ingredients except butter. Knead into a soft dough with lukewarm water. Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes. Apply oil on the surface of the dough. Cover it and rest it for 15 minutes.

* Step 2

After 15 minutes make small balls from the dough. Take one ball and roll it. Make an oval shape. Put some chopped coriander leaves on the top surface. Press it with a rolling pin. So that every thing sticks on the naan.

* Step 3

Turn the side and apply water with your hand. Place the wet side on the hot Tawa.

* Step 4

When the bubbles start to appear, then turn the Tawa directly over the flame. Cook until brown spots are seen.

* Step 5

Now grease the naan with melted butter and the naan is ready. It is served with chicken barra.
