Ingredient

semolina

1/2 ltr

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan take two cup sugar and four cup water. Boil it. Add green cardamom. Boil for five minutes on medium flame. The syrup should be little sticky. Add half lemon juice. Mix it. Switch the flame off.

Soak the semolina in water for 10 minutes.

* Step 3

In a bowl mix milk powder and ghee. Mix it gently. Add baking powder, all-purpose flour and semolina. Mix well.

* Step 4

Add 6-8 tbsp of milk and mix it. Make a soft dough with gentle pressure. If needed add few milk. Rest it for 10 minutes.

Divide the dough into equal portion. Take one portion to make a round ball with your palm. Make all the balls.

Heat oil in a Karahi. Fry the gulab jamuns in medium heat. Fry till golden in colour. Let the gulab jamun cool. Put them in sugar syrup.

Now heat ghee in another pan. Add vermicelli. Saute for two minutes. Add milk and sugar. Cook it on low flame until it is soft.

In a muffin tray put some ghee. Then put vermicelli mixture in the cups. Press it with your fingers. Then place it in refrigerator for one hour.

Now mix 3 tbsp of custard powder in 1/4 cup of milk and make a paste. Boil the milk add custard powder paste. Add sugar. Stir continuously and cook for two minutes. Let it cool.

Unmould the basket from the muffin tray. Pour some thick custard in the basket. Then put the gulab jamun in it. Garnish the basket with chopped pistachio.
