Ingredient

milk

mango puree

4 tsp

sugar

1 tbsp

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take a pan and boil the milk. Switch the flame off. After 5 minute add lemon juice. Allow it to curdle.

* Step 2

Pour the paneer/chhena in a muslin cloth and wash chhena with cold water to avoid the sourness. Hang the chhena so that sour water can drain.

* Step 3

In a karahi heat ghee add mango puree. Fry it on a medium flame. After few minute add sugar then fry again. When the mixture become thick add chhena/paneer mixture. Fry it.

* Step 4

When the mixture leaves the sides then switch the flame off. Let it cool down.

* Step 5

In a plate spread some ghee then pour the mixture. Spread it evenly. Spread chopped dry fruits. Put it in freeze to set for 2-3 hours. Now cut the kalakand in square or diamond shape and serve.
