I am in the mood to prepare something really spicy and tasty. No snacks. A routine Lunch replaced by punjabi tadka
Replace the humdrum with yum yum!!!
Ingredient
Food ration :

Cooking instructions
* Step 2
For marinade
4tbsp hung curd
2 tbsp chickpea flour
2 tsp garlic paste
Salt acc to taste
2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp aamchur powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
1 tsp kasuri methi
Finely chopped coriander
Mix all well with a beater
* Step 3
Toss all vegetables in the marinade
Refrigerate for 15-20 mins
* Step 4
In a pan add oil,cumin seeds and curry leaves
Add the marinated vegetables and saute well for 5 mins on a slow flame
Heat a peice of charcoal till it turns white
Place it in a small dish in the centre of the pan. Pour hot ghee over it.
You will see smokes coming out
Immediately cover it with a lid
Let it rest for 10-15 mins
* Step 5
Now poke these potatoes onion and capsicum on skewers
Let the gravy remain
Place the skewers on a grill pan or a grill plate
Heat on a high flame till the potatoes turn brownish
They are now properly grilled
* Step 6
In a pan again heat oil.
Add the gravy which was remaining
Add very little water
Add dry red chilli paste(I always make it and store it in my freezer) to give the bright red colour
Add the potatoes onion and capsicum from the skewers
Blend well
Garnish with coriander
