Chicken Chilli Wontons

#cppassport #china Wonton is a type of Chinese dumpling commonly found across regional styles of Chinese cuisine.wonton has filling inside and is eaten after being steamed or boiled and served in soup. Today I made wonton with chicken filling and served it with chilli gravy .This chicken chilli wontons is so delightful,yum yum dish believe me every one will like it.So without wasting any time let’s head to the kitchen and try some Chinese cuisine

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

For wonton sheets In a mixing bowl take refined flour,egg and salt to taste mix it well and knead a stiff dough with the help of water.cover the dough with damp cloth and let it rest at least 20 minutes.

* Step 2

Now divide the dough in two equal part and make a thin sheet with the help of rolling Pin and dusting the flour so that sheet doesn’t overlap or stick to each other.

Cut the rolled sheet in to 10cmx 10 cm square sheets to make wonton wrap.

For chicken filling: In a mixing bowl add chicken mince, green chilli chopped,spring onion green chopped,ginger and garlic chopped,vinegar,soy sauce,red chilli sauce,white pepper powder,Egan’s cornstarch,mix everything wellend keep aside to use later for filling.

* Step 5

Now take wonton wrap and keep it diagonally and place a teaspoon full of chicken mixture and roll it till 3/4th, gently press on the either edges and apply waterland stick the sides together. Raw wonton is ready,make all the wonton with the remaining sheets.

Later boil the water in a big pot,add all the wonton one by one and boil at least for 5 to 6 minutes.

After that we will prepare chilli gravy in a wok on high heat, add oil,chopped garlic,ginger, green chilli and spring onion bulb sauté it for a minute add hot water and bring it to boil.

Now add soy sauce,green chilli sauce,red chilli sauce,vinegar,sugar,pepper powder and salt to taste stir and bring to boil,then add diced capsicum,onion and green spring onion stir for a minute then add cornstarch added with water cook it until the sauce get thickened.

* Step 9

Finally place the cooked chicken wonton in plate and pour the chilli gravy over it and garnish with green onion and serve it hot to enjoy it fullest
