Masoor Sheekh Kebab/Whole Red Lentil Kebab

Masoor Sheekh Kebab/Whole red lentil kebab is very healthy and tasty dish made with masoor (whole red lentil) and oats. It is also vegan and gluten-free. Serve it as an appetizer for your party or as an after-school snack with your favorite dip or sauce.

Ingredient

Food ration :

5 kebab

Cooking time :

15 minutes
1/2 cup

oats

1/4 tsp

garam masala

1/2 tsp

chat masala

to taste

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a mixing plate add boiled and mashed masoor, quick oats, cumin powder, turmeric powder, dry mango powder, chat masala, garam masala and salt. Mix them well.

* Step 2

Add chopped coriander. Mix well. Grease palms with oil and shape the kebab on the wooden sticks.

* Step 3

Heat a pan. Cook the kebabs by applying oil all over. Keep on turning on all the sides and cook till golden and crisp.

* Step 4

Serve hot with the chutney, sauce or dip of your choice.
