Ingredient

Milk

1 cup

Sugar

1 cup

Water

1/2 cup

Lemon juice

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil the milk in the pan

* Step 2

.When it gets boiled, add the lemon juice and cover the milk.

* Step 3

.After few minutes, the milk gets fully curdled.

* Step 4

Strain the chena in a muslin cloth and wash in a fresh water for 2 - 3 times.

* Step 5

.And hang the chena in a muslin cloth for half an hour.

* Step 6

Now we get soft paneer or cottage cheese.

* Step 7

.Cut paneer in small cubes

* Step 8

Heat pan in a gas.

* Step 9

.Add sugar and water on a low flame.

* Step 10

Stir continuously until sugar gets thick Add cardamom powder.

* Step 11

Now add cottage cheese or paneer cubes and constantly stir until the paneer cubes get fully coated with the syrup for around 15 mins.

* Step 12

Chena murki is ready.
