Scottish minced and tatties
This is a very tasty and popular dish in Scotland. Scottish people love it and it is pretty easy to prepare.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté chopped onions for 5 minutes until tender.
* Step 2
Add minced beef, fry until it is brown. Occasionally stir it. Then add spices and mustard sauce. Gently mix all together.
* Step 3
Add diced carrot with tabasco sauce to the meat mixture.
* Step 4
Dissolve beef stock cubes in 300 ml hot water and pour over the meat
* Step 5
Finally add corn flour and freshly chopped rosemary leaves.
* Step 6
Cover the pot with a lid and leave it to cook for about 20 minutes over medium to low heat.
* Step 7
Meanwhile, cook the potatoes. Mash the potatoes, season with salt and pepper,
* Step 8
Add some butter and milk to the mashed potatoes and heat it for 1-2 minutes. Serve the dish with mashed potatoes and green peas.
