Motichoor Ladoo
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a wide bowl add gramflour,to this add water(pouring consistency) add orange colour as desired. (the amount of water to be added depends on the quality of the gramflour)
* Step 2
Find a strainer with holes as shown in the pic to fry boondis or use a Jhara
* Step 3
Heat sufficient ghee in a kadhai. The oil has to be moderately hot, hold the strainer over the hot ghee, pour a little batter over it and pass the batter through it fast into the kadhai to make boondis. About 1 min is enough to get the correct texture in the boondi
* Step 4
Remove the boondis using slotted spoon,drain thoroughly. Let it cool bit
* Step 5
Pulse them in a food processor for fine Motichoor ladoos
* Step 6
Add this to bowl to this add melon seeds & saffron strands
* Step 7
Cook 1 1/3rd cup sugar with 2 cups of water to make syrup of one thread consistency.add milk and when scum rise to the top, remove it.add cardmom powder
* Step 8
To this sugar syrup add prepared boondi mixture,stir and mix well. The boondis should get softened in the sugar syrup. Cook for 5-7 minutes stir in between. Once done switch off the flame cover the lid and let it rest for 10mins
* Step 9
Apply some ghee or oil in palms & shape the Motichoor ladoos. The mixture should be warm when preparing the ladoos, on cooling they become firm.

Ladoos are ready to serve

Garnish with some pistachios

Note : These ladoos do not stay for long & therefore should be consumed fast
