Satori or sanjori, is a fried pastry made with sweet filling is a maharastrian delicacy made for festive occasions like ganesh chaturthi.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a bowl add refined flour, semolina, salt,oil,add some warm water and make a dough.keep it aside for 20mins
* Step 2
In the meanwhile, u can make the stuffing
* Step 3
In a shallow pan add 2 tbsp ghee and fry semolina till slight golden brown this make take around 10 mins (take care not to burn rava) keep stirring continuously
* Step 4
Now switch of the flame and add milk powder, powdered sugar and cardmom powder to this
* Step 5
Now ur stuffing is ready, make smalls balls out of this
* Step 6
Make small ball from the dough, roll it to make a small puri and stuff stuffing inside the puri(just the way u would make a stuffed paratha or puranpoli
* Step 7
Using a rolling pin roll the satori into a thick poori
* Step 8
Heat ghee or oil in a kadai on a low flame, once the ghee is hot add satori and fry from both the sides, the satori should puff, when u fry them.fry on medium flame
* Step 10
Keep satori to cool on a kitchen towel
* Step 11
U can store them upto 7 days in an airtight container
* Step 12
Serve satori as a sweet dish for the festivals along with ur festive meals
