Onion Tomato chicken curry gravy

#Nonvegcurries The colour of the chicken gravy is red & is very appealing dish to eat. It is a gravy recipe with a spicy touch to the chicken curry.

Ingredient

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Apply turmeric & salt to chicken and marinate this for 20 mins

* Step 2

Heat oil in a wok, add bay leaf next add in onions add saute till they get soft,now add Red chilli powder (add chilli powder at this stage to get nice red colour to gravy)

* Step 3

Add in ginger garlic paste & saute well to get rid of raw smell

* Step 4

Add chopped tomatoes, mix well cook for few minutes

* Step 5

Next add marinated chicken & roast them well for few minutes

* Step 6

Add coriander powder, water cover and cook chicken till chicken gets tender

* Step 7

Add garam masala and coriander leaves cook for 2 minutes

* Step 8

Switch off the flame

* Step 9

Serve hot with rice or rotis
