Beetroot Poriyal

This is South Indian Tamilnadu style steamed , stir fried vegetables. It is healthy , vegan, easy and quick recipe.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil in a sauce pan.

* Step 2

Add hing, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chanadal.

* Step 3

Let it spulter.

* Step 4

Add green chilles and curry leaves all at once.

* Step 5

Saute for a minute.

* Step 6

Add in the beetroot and salt.

* Step 7

Toss and saute the beets till tender.

* Step 8

Remove from heat and serve hot with rotis, rasam and rice.
