Bacon Bubble and Squeak Cakes

Better too make them into individual savoury Potato cakes . I did not follow a Recipe - 4 for 1 Person seems good as a portion . Each One savoury Potato Cake weigh's 150g when not cooked , all the ingredients are cooked and cold and then eventually brought together too make Bacon Bubble and Squeak cakes

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Peel the raw potatoes and then boil them in boiling hot water on the hob stove for 20 minutes and then drain the very hot water away through a sieve or Colander over the Kitchen sink and then transfer the hot cooked potatoes too a very large metal Mixing Bowl and then mash with a masher or with a Dinner Fork and then allow too cool

* Step 2

Cut whole White Cabbage in half and then cut into small pieces too fit through Tefal's funnel on the Tefal Lid and then with the power on - shred with the disc Tefal blade attachment. Boil the raw shredded Cabbage for 10 minutes in boiling water on the hob stove on the highest hob heat and then drain the hot water away and transfer the cooked Cabbage to a large metal Mixing Bowl, allow too get cold

* Step 3

Place One tablespoon Vegetable Oil in a large frying pan and then gradually fry all 10 rashers of bacon. Shallow fry on the highest hob heat for One minute on the One sides and then 30 seconds on the other sides. Allow too cool and get cold

* Step 4

Place 100 ml Olive Oil in your Nutri Ninja and then place half a teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt in and then add the One tablespoon measuring spoon of Whole Black Peppercorns and then blitz for One minute, or blitz again for another One minute. Add the seasoned Olive Oil too your Tefal and then add the cold cooked bacon and then add half of the cold cooked mashed potatoes and then use the Tefal blades at the bottom too bring together a sticky ball of mash and then place it back in with the other half

* Step 5

Place the cold cooked cabbage in with the cold cooked mashed potato mix and then stir in with a metal Dessert Spoon

* Step 6

Measure out on a pair of Scales 200g Plain Flour and then place it all on a large Dinner Plate and then measure on a pair of Scales 150g of the Bubble and Squeak mix and then place each plump round into the Plain Flour and then dust on both sides. Place 100 ml Olive Oil in your large Frying Pan and fit 4 into the pan and then shallow fry on the lowest hob heat for 10 minutes each side and then shallow fry at the end - on the highest hob heat for One minute each side

Use a large flat Wooden Spoon etc. too transfer the Bacon Bubble and Squeak cakes too your Dinner Plate
