Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet)

The deep-fried pork cutlet coated with panko breadcrumbs is called ‘Tonkatsu’ in Japanese. It is often served with shredded cabbage as a dish, but ‘Tonkatsu’ is also used for various foods and cooking. It is normally deep-fried but can be oven-baked for health benefits.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Sprinkle salt and pepper over Pork Steaks and coat with Flour.

* Step 2

Then dip them in beaten Eggs and finally coat with Panko Bread Crumbs.

* Step 3

Heat oil to 170℃ and deep fry until cooked through and golden, placet on a rack and drain the oil.
