Maria's pepper pie
This is not only an extremely delicious pie, it also looks great!! Try it and you will see for yourselves!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Sauté the peppers in very little butter until they are slightly tender.
* Step 2
Strain them and add the ham and the cheeses.
* Step 3
Brush a pyrex baking dish of 35x25 cm with butter and line it with one puff pastry sheet.
* Step 4
Add the filling and cover with the second puff pastry sheet.
* Step 5
Pierce the top of the pie with a toothpick all around.
* Step 6
Brush the top with egg or with a little milk and bake at 180°C until golden brown.
* Step 7
Serve in the baking dish as soon as you remove it from the oven. Bon appétit!
