Vegan Burger Patties

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Fry the mushrooms in a non-stick pan on a medium heat. Don't add any oil or butter. Fry until the mushrooms are dry, this will take 10 minutes. Set aside.

* Step 2

Place the beans and chickpeas on an oven pan. Bake in a preheated oven, 180°C for 10 minutes. Let cool a little then mash and set aside.

* Step 3

Mash the lentils. Now mix everything together. Put in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight.

* Step 4

Form balls of 120 grams. This will give you about 7 balls. Squeeze them flat and shape like burger patties. You can freeze them until needed.

* Step 5

When you fry them (using oil or butter) it's about 3-4 minutes aside, depending on how hot your pan is.

* Step 6

Please note that this is a basic mix. I have added roasted, grated beetroot. And on another occasion some green peas, slightly mashed. Enjoy.
