Taco Lasagna

This Mexican-American inspired dish was so fun to make for Cinco de Mayo🇲🇽! It was my first time making lasagna and it turned out amazing & delicious 🤤 share your results!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. Cook ground beef and drain excess oil

* Step 2

In the same pan, add diced onions & bell pepper. Cook until soft

* Step 3

Add cooked ground beef and season with all dry ingredients.

* Step 4

Add tomato & 80% of the taco sauce, leave the rest for later. simmer on medium-low heat for about 7 minutes

* Step 5

Spray baking pan with non stick cooking spray. Layer the pan with pasta, cooked meat, ricotta cheese, & mozzarella cheese. Repeat this step 2-3 times.

* Step 6

Add chicken broth or water to remaining taco sauce. Top off the pan with pasta, taco sauce mixture, & 1/2 taco blend cheese.

* Step 7

Bake for 30 minutes. Add remaining cheese packet and cook for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
