Bang Bang Shrimp

Bang Bang Shrimp

Ingredient

Shrimp

1/4-1/2 c

Cornstarch

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix sauce ingredients in large bowl and set aside.

* Step 2

Peel, devein and remove tails from shrimp. Dry shrimp and place in large bowl or ziplock bag.

* Step 3

Coat shrimp with cornstarch and set aside.

* Step 4

Add canola oil to large skillet

* Step 5

Heat oil to 350 degrees.

* Step 6

Fry shrimp in small batches until cooked completely. Time varies with the size of the shrimp. Do not crowd the pan.

* Step 7

Place cooked shrimp on clean paper towel to drain off excess oil. Repeat until all shrimp is cooked.

* Step 8

Add cooked shrimp to the large bowl with the sauce and toss to coat.

* Step 9

Serve over rice, garnished with scallions.
