Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a cooker take 2 tsp of ghee, add soaked moong dal(for 15 to 20 mins). Sauté for awhile until it turns aromatic. Now add rice and sauté again.
* Step 2
Add 3 cups of milk and 4 cups of water and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
* Step 3
In another pan take 1.5 cups jaggery and add water. Let it boil to get a jaggery syrup
* Step 4
Once the cooked rice and dal is cooled down, add jaggery syrup. Also add additional cup of milk and boil in simmer. Also add saffron threads soaked in milk.
* Step 5
Add roasted cashews and raisins to it along with cardamom powder. Add additional ghee (2 to 3tbsp). Also add roasted coconut and mix well.
