A healthy and tasty side dish, is one of the popular side dish of udupi – mangalore cuisine served along with rice just before rasam and sambar

Ingredient

Coconut

1 tsp

mustard

1.5 tsp

udad dal

1 sprig

Curry leaves

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Grind coconut, chilli and mustard to fine paste. Add water as required.

* Step 2

Add paste to chopped cucumber. One ladle curds. Salt and mix. (Note no boiling involved)

* Step 3

Add tempering.
