Maple Honey-Nut Granola

My family doesn’t eat a lot of granola, but when we do, I prefer homemade. I like to use it as a topping for Greek yogurt, but I’ve also been known to grab a handful as a snack. 😋 #Breakfast #Cereal #Healthy

Pour in the oil and melted butter, then mix really well. Make sure everything is evenly coated.

* Step 4

Pour in the honey, syrup, and vanilla and mix really well again.

* Step 5

Line two 16x12” baking sheets with aluminum foil and spray lightly with baking spray.

* Step 6

Spread granola out onto the two sheets, then bake for a total of 40 minutes. Every 10 minutes, stir the granola to ensure even baking!

* Step 7

Optional: Add the coconut halfway through the baking time. This will ensure that it toasts but does not scorch.

* Step 8

Let cool completely, then add dried fruit if desired. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one month. Serve mixed with milk and/or your favorite cereal, or use as a topping on yogurt and fresh fruit.

* Step 9

Notes: 🥣 Stirring often will produce a loose granola. If you prefer chunky granola, press it down onto the baking sheet and do not stir during baking. Let it cook, then break it into chunks.
