Ingredient

milk powder

4 tablespoons

maida

1 tablespoon

melted ghee

2 pinch

soda

For

syrup-

2 Cups

sugar

2 Cups

water

1 pinch

saffron

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take first five ingredients in a big bowl and make small balls.

* Step 2

Fry them in not very hot oil on low flame

* Step 3

Don't use ladle much to turn them Handle delicately

* Step 4

For syrup- Take sugar and water in a bowl.

* Step 5

Boil for 20 mins on medium till you feel syrup gets sticky.

* Step 6

Add pinch kesar and elaichi powder.

* Step 7

Close the gas and let the syrup be warm, not hot when you immerse fried Gulab Jamuns.

* Step 8

Let gulab jamuns sit in the syrup for a few hours before serving.
