Ingredient

1/2 cup

semolina

1 cup

milk

2 tbsp

ghee

1 tbsp

sugar

20-25 strands

saffron

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take saffron strands in 2 tbsp warm milk and mix it till saffron gives a nice color

* Step 2

Take a pan, keep it on flame.

* Step 3

Add ghee to the pan and put semolina to it. Keep stirring till it changes color.

* Step 4

Once semolina is roasted add milk to it. Keep stirring on a low flame

* Step 5

Add saffron milk and condensed milk too. Keep stirring till the milk reduces to a firm dough

* Step 6

When the a dense dough is formed take it out in a big plate and let it cool

* Step 7

Fir stuffing roast finely chopped nuts add Eliachi powder and 1 tbsp sugar too it.

* Step 8

Now grease the Modak moulds. Take little portion of dough in the mould.

* Step 9

Stuff the dry fruits filling inside the Modak and seal from down

* Step 10

Prepare all the modaks like this

* Step 11

Delicious modaks are ready. Let them cool down completely

* Step 12
