Vegetarian Mexican Pizza

Friday night and we were wonding, "Can we make Mexican pizzas from scratch quicker than driving to the next town and picking them up?"

Ingredient

1 hr 30 minutes
1 tablespoon

taco seasoning

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cooking the beans: I'll boil them really hard with salt for like 10 minutes. Kill the heat and cover for 30 minutes. Drain and rinse. Boil really hard with salt for 30 minutes.

* Step 2

Make some taco seasoning: Achiote powder, chile powder, black pepper, white pepper, cumin, oregano, sage, salt, sugar, msg... however you like it! You can also use taco bell sauce in place of seasoning.

* Step 3

While the beans are cooking, Cut up 2.5 of the tomatoes and the green chile. Simmer them with a splash of water and the taco seasoning for like an hour

* Step 4

Brush the tortillas with oil and bake them on 325 for like 12 minutes. Watch very carefully to get them crunchy but not burnt

* Step 5

Assemble! Tortilla, beans, tortilla, sauce, cheese.

Top with some tomatoes and enjoy!
