Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Preheat your oven to gas 7 / 220C / 425°F and grease & flour a 2lb loaf tin
* Step 2
In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, salt and yeast
* Step 3
In a seperate bowl combine the milk and vinegar
* Step 4
Add the liquid ingredients to the flour mix to form a sticky dough, add 350mls to begin with then add extra by tablespoon as needed
* Step 5
Add the oil and mix in. The batter should be like a thick cake mix, stiff enough to hold its shape but drop slowly from a spoon
* Step 6
Pour the mix into the loaf tin and smooth the surface over with the back of a wet spoon
* Step 7
Let rise for 20 minutes only then put in the oven
* Step 8
Bake for 45 - 60 minutes until the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the base
* Step 9
Let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing
