Mexican Shredded Pork

This shredded pork recipe is great for homemade chalupas! It is best served on top of a freshly fried corn tortilla with rice, beans, and guac on the side!

Ingredient

1 tsp

salt

1/2 tsp

pepper

2 tsp

cumin

1 tsp

oregano

1/2 tsp

onion powder

1 tbsp

lemon juice

3 tbsp

salsa verde

1/3 cup

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix together try spice ingredients. Rub pork tenderloin with dry spice mix.

* Step 2

Place pork in crockpot.

* Step 3

Add water, salsa verde, and lemon juice to the crockpot.

* Step 4

Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

* Step 5

Use two forks to shred the pork, keeping the juices in the crockpot.

* Step 6

Return pork to the crock pot and mix in with juices. Cook on low for 30 minutes.

Serve on tostadas with salsa verde, cilantro, and queso fresco.
