Oven Roasted Fresh Groundnut Shells

These freshly available Groundnut Shells are oven roasted with some Olive Oil and Salt for a worthwhile snack at just about anytime. Isn't that perfect? Well! Yes! My family thoroughly enjoyed it the other day when I did this for them. The best part is that you needn't do any stirring and mixing while standing all the time in the kitchen. You just have to toss it up once or twice for a good and an even roasting. That's it. Nothing much complicated at all. You will love this for sure.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add these fresh Groundnut Shells to a basket and rub well with hands to remove the dirt and grime. It's necessary so that they get roasted well. And now they are all set for roasting. Spread on a butter paper lined baking tray. Sprinkle a little bit of Olive Oil and Salt as needed. Shake it a bit so that it gets mixed well and the Oil coats all the Shells. If required, you can add more of Olive Oil. It's one's own choice.

Bake in a preheated oven on 200° for about 40 to 45 minutes. It depends upon the oven you are using as every oven temperature settings are different. Keep turning and tossing for one or two times in between to ensure even roasting of the Peas.

Serve them at Tea-time or Shaam ki Chai to your families or even as an afterschool quick munchie to your kids. The choice is entirely yours. Store them in air tight containers and relish upto 2 weeks or even more. Enjoy!
