Doesn't this meal sound awesome? Well! Yes! It does! This is one heavenly dish that compliments everything so very beautifully from Rice to Rotis to Naans. A gorgeous-looking one with mild subtle flavours and aroma that tickles your tastebuds. And making it is also so damn easy with the most common pantry staples available and handy in every Indian kitchen. No wonder, this is a permanent feature at our dinner table too often. It is a great one for parties and special occasions. That's why it's original counterpart namely the Mutton Lababdar is a most sought-after dish and is on the menu of every restaurant across the Country. And the perfect option for any party, it steals the limelight every time it's served.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat a pot with both ghee and oil at first. Shallow fry Prawns a bit for 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside until use.

* Step 2

In the same pot, throw in the cumin seeds, dry chilies, cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon sticks, ginger, garlic, and chopped coriander now.

* Step 3

Add chopped onions and saute for a minute or two before adding the tomatoes and the rest of the spices. After cooking for about 10 minutes, blend into a puree along with the cashewnuts.

* Step 4

After done, add it to the kadai along with the Prawns. Sprinkle garam masala, and add both chopped coriander and kasuri methi. Do not forget to stir in the fresh cream too. Mix well and cook for about 5 minutes more before switching off the flame.

Garnish with more fresh cream, chopped coriander, and kasuri methi before dishing it out. Enjoy! Serve piping hot with Cumin Rice and Naans.
