An absolutely yummy and a terrific Masala Peas for Breakfast with any of the Indian Breads especially Parathas or Puris. It's an amazing treat on any day. And not only is it a healthy one, it's loaded with Protiens essential for the growing children. Dry White Peas or Safed Matar has many Vitamins and therefore highly nutritious.
They are the powerhouses of nutrition and are extremely essential for maintaining the blood Haemoglobin levels in the body thereby reducing the chances of Anaemia. Therefore these are absolutely important for everyone, more so the womenfolk.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak the dry Peas in enough drinking water overnight for best results. Pressure cook with little Salt and water as required the next day. Set aside until use.
* Step 2
Heat Oil in a pressure cooker. Add Ginger garlic paste and the Onions that are finely chopped. Saute until translucent. Add the rest of the powdered spices and saute all that for about 3-4 minutes and then add chopped Tomatoes too. Ripe one's are the best. Cook on a low heat for further 3 minutes. You can also add slit Green Chillies too.
* Step 3
Relish! Also add some of the chopped Coriander Leaves and half of the Salt too. Otherwise It would be bland. Now add boiled Dry Peas to the kadai. Mix well and cook on a low heat until 4-5 minutes more so that everything gets incorporated really well. Since this is a semi dry Sabzi or Curry, do not add extra water.
