Besan Chakki or Burfi

#FM #W4 #cookpadindia My family's all-time favourite Dessert and an ultimate one at that. It's sheer bliss. A bite into it is enough to sweep you off your feet. Melt in mouth, super soft and super moist Besan Chakki is made in a jiffy. Hassle-free and done so very quickly too. Try these yummy goodies and feed your family fresh homemade lovely food at all times. The only important part is that of roasting which needs to be done on a low heat taking enough care that it's not burnt. Stirring is the second most important part. Once done with these two essential parts of this Sweet or Mithai making, it's an easy task ahead. These can be stored in the refrigerator for a long time though I am not sure whether there will be any left for storage.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Roast Gram Flour or Besan on low heat using Ghee. It should be done on low heat only occasionally stirring it until the raw smell fades and a lovely aroma emanates in your kitchen. Take care while roasting. It should not be burnt.

Make a single-string consistency with Sugar syrup in the meantime. Once done with roasting, add the syrup to the Kadai. Also, add some Cardamom powder and the slivered Nuts. Reserve some for the garnishing. Mix well and keep stirring until the mixture leaves the sides of the Kadai.

Pour it into a greased plate or a dish. Garnish with the slivered Nuts. Leave it to cool and set for a while. After an hour, cut them into squares and relish them with your loved ones and friends alike. Enjoy!
