Beetroot Cheesy Poppers

#ir A recipe packed with the nutrition of iron. Helps to improve blood health Beetroot is a must vegetable for anaemic patients. I have also added black sesame to lift the iron content in the recipe. This recipe will be liked By young for the melting cheese inside. And By the old for the healthy beetroot outside!!

1/2-3/4 cup

mayonnaise

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash, peel, and ready all vegetables and other ingredients. Keep maida for slurry and fresh crumbs ready. Cut cheese cubes into small cubelets.

Grate the beetroots. Finely chop the onions and ggg in a chopper.

Popper Mix: In 2 tsp oil add black sesame seeds. When they splitter add in chopped onions and ggg. Saute well. Mix in salt and dry masalas.

Add in grated beetroot. Mix well. After 2-3 minutes add in 4 cups water. Bring it to a boil. (The beetroot gets softened in this process)

Add in rava in batches and mix well to form a lumpfree mixture. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Stir in between. Check and add salt and other masalas if required. When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan and forms into a dough, it's done. Do not make it too dry. Transfer the mix to a plate and cool completely. Add in coriander and mix.

Now make maida slurry. Keep it medium thick. Make equal portions of the popper mix and stuff cheese cubelets and make popper balls. Seal well with no cracks on the surface. Make round beetroot cheesy balls.

Dip the balls into the maida slurry and coat the fresh bread crumbs.

Make all the balls and keep ready. Deep fry in hot oil on medium fast gas. Do not touch immediately.Turn after 2 minutes.Fry well.
