Tasty Veg Paneer Chilla

1 1/2 cups

rice

curd

salt

rava

1/2 tsp

water

4-5 tsp

butter

4-5 tsp

melted ghee

3 tbsp

carrot

3 tbsp

capsicum

3 tbsp

cabbage

100 gms

paneer

1/2 tsp

chat massla

1/4 tsp

hing

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and soak the dals and rice together for 4 hours. Drain and take half the soaked ingredients into mixer jar.

Crush with 1 tsp curd. Add little water if required. Crush to a slightly coarse batter. Similarly, crush the remaining with 1 tsp curd.

Add in water and set consistency. Cover and rest the batter for 1 hour.

Chop the vegetables finely. Ready the sprinkling masala and mix.

Now add besan, rava, salt, sugar, ginger-chilli paste to the batter. Add in some water and set a medium batter consistency. Rest for 10 minutes.

Heat a tava and spread a chilla. Spread 1/2 tsp butter all over.

Sprinkle the chopped vegetables. Sprinkle the sprinkling masala. Grate paneer.

* Step 8

Sprinkle masala again. Drizzle melted ghee all around and roast the chilla crispy.
