Soya Sticks and Soya Chips

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, ready all the ingredients.
Mix the 3 sprinkling masalas and keep aside, for use after frying the SOYA STICKS AND SOYA CHIPS.
* Step 2
Sieve all the 4 flours together. Add in oil and masalas readied for the dough. Mix well.
* Step 3
Add in water and knead a medium soft dough. Rest the dough for 30 minutes.
* Step 4
Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until supple and smooth. Make 3 cylinders of the dough.Heat oil for frying.
* Step 5
For Soya sticks, use Star Jaali in a greased sev machine. Make long sticks on a greased plate. Cut the sticks into 2-3inches length, using a greased knife.
* Step 6
Drop the sticks in medium hot oil. Note the oil should not be very hot, else sticks will remain raw and soft.
* Step 7
Fry well on slow gas. (Please Note, Soyabean flour takes a longer cooking time.) Fry until crispy. Drain on a paper and sprinkle the Sprinkling masala on the hot SOYA STICKS.
* Step 8
For Soya Chips, use the jaali with 4 horizontal cuts in a greased sev machine. Make Soya chips directly into the medium hot oil. Fry crispy on slow gas until crispy. Transfer onto a paper and sprinkle the sprinkling masala.
* Step 9
Cool and store in airtight box and ENJOY a lip smacking snack.
Kids will not demand the store packets of
SOYA STICKS AND SOYA STICKS.
