Nimona is a very popular green pea's curry preparation specially made in winter season in India, when markets are flooded with fresh green peas. Matar ka nimona is a flavourful homestyle UP dish made with fresh green peas. It is enhanced by the sweet flavour of fresh peas. This experimental Chicken Nimona is cooked in the gravy of this winter delight green peas.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Make a paste of boiling green peas. Add 2 tbsp oil and light fry the paste till dry and keep aside
* Step 2
Make a mixture of coriander leaves, green chilli, garlic cloves, ginger
* Step 3
Add 3 tbsp oil add cumin seeds and then tomato paste and sauté. Then add the green paste and cook till oil seperates
* Step 4
In another pan add 1/4 cup oil and fry the potato wedges and chicken, add some salt. Keep aside
* Step 5
Now add the fried green peas paste to the tomato coriander gravy and cook till uniform gravy
* Step 6
Add the fried chicken and potatoes to this gravy, add salt to taste, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder and 1 cup hot water. Add some fresh green peas.
