Vegetarian Halal Cart-Style Chick’n and Rice π“₯𝓖 (π™Ώπš•πšŠπš—πš π™±πšŠπšœπšŽπš π™ΌπšŠπš–πšŠπšœπŸŒΏ)

Combine my β€œHalal Guys” White Sauce and Simple Yellow Rice recipe for a tasty delight!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Put olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, and garlic in a ziploc back. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Put the entire bag of Meatless Chick’n in a Ziploc bag. Seal the bag and toss to evenly coat chicken in sauce. Place the bag in refrigerator for one hour.

* Step 2

Place the chick’n in a hot non stick pan and cook, tossing occasionally, until well browned and cooked through, about 8 minutes total. Transfer chicken to a cutting board and roughly chop.

* Step 3

Make your rice and set aside to rest 10 minutes before serving. (Refer to my β€œSimple Yellow Rice” recipe for instructions if needed.)

* Step 4

Make your white sauce by blending mayo, Greek yogurt, dill, salt, pepper, sugar, lime juice, garlic powder, and white vinegar together. Set aside in a container with a lid.

* Step 5

Toast naan until warm and lightly toasted, about 1 minute.

* Step 6

Plate rice, lettuce, tomato, and toasted pita bread evenly among bowls or plates. Pile the chicken on top of the rice. Top the chicken and rice with white sauce to taste. Enjoy!
