Dried Beef Chips
Perfect snack for a meat lovers
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Prepare beef sirloin. You can also use tenderloin, round or other lean meat.
* Step 2
Cover the plate with some spices, salt & pepper. I use spice blend Basturma made by my own.
* Step 3
Cut meat along the muscle fibers in 2 cm wide pieces.
* Step 4
Cut meat pieces against the grain as thin as possible.
* Step 5
Put cut meat on the plate with spices.
* Step 6
When plate is full, cover the meat with spices, salt & pepper and add another layer.
* Step 7
When all the meat is cut and spiced, mix it thoroughly and leave for 5 minutes.
* Step 8
Put prepared meat on food dehydrator trays.
* Step 9
Dry at 50 °C for 10 hours.
