Beans & Potato Bhaji

#GA4 #week18 #Frenchbeans #Post1 Green beans are known by many common names, including French beans, string beans, snap beans, snaps. They are rich on vitamin A, B6, D, and Magnesium.

Ingredient

Cooking time :

15 minutes

cooking oil

1/2 tsp

cumin seeds

to taste

salt

1/4 tsp

garam masala

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash peel and chop potatoes, beans and carrots. Grate tomatoes ginger and green chilli.

* Step 2

Heat oil in a karahi. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put grated ginger, tomato and green chilli and saute for 2 minutes.

Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well.

Cook on low flame till oil leaves the karahi. May take 2 minutes. Add chopped beans, potato and carrot. Mix it well with masala.

Add 2 tb spoon water and place the lid and cook for 10 minutes on low flame. Check if it is done. Switch off the flame. Add garam masala and stir. Cook for

Serve hot with chapatti or parantha.
