Arrosto al latte

Haven't made this for a while. The pork is so tender! Added sage and garlic this time. The sauce is just to die for. Serve with veg of your choice #italian #pork #mainmeal

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Fry chopped veg in oil for few mins. Add garlic and sage. Cook for another few mins

Add meat and brown on both sides. Add wine and let it evaporate. Add salt and pepper. Add milk until the meat is nearly covered

* Step 3

Bring gently to the boil. Cover and cook on lowest flame for 2 hours, turn few times during cooking

* Step 4

After 2 hours, take out the meat, cover and set aside in a warm place to rest. Using hand blender, whizz up the sauce and reduce on high for about 6-8 mins

* Step 5

Stir frequently

Carve meat and serve with the sauce :)
