Serradura is a traditional Portuguese dessert. It’s also called Sawdust Pudding because the Marie biscuits are blended to look like sawdust. As Portuguese settled in Goa, the people of Goa also make this dessert but in a Goanese style. It’s the Portuguese who brought this famous dessert of theirs to India.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a blender add Marie biscuits and blend smooth to look like Sawdust
* Step 2
In a bowl add Double cream and whisk until a stiff peak is reached.
* Step 3
Add condensed milk and whisk again but not very hard
* Step 4
In a pan heat water and add Gelatine and simmer until dissolved. Add that to the cream
* Step 5
In a serving glass of your choice layer the biscuit crumbs first and smoothen with back of a spoon so that it looks neat, add a layer of the cream gently covering all sides, repeat the layer and on top sprinkle some biscuit crumbs.
* Step 6
Refrigerate overnight and serve the next day
* Step 7
