Tuvar Spinach Kachori with Raita

I would like to thank Amrita Mallick for her recipe which I recreated with change. Mouthwatering in taste with Raita
Ingredient

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-1hr
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
For filling - chop onions, ginger and green chillies
* Step 2
Wash the Tuvar Dal and in a pressure cooker boil. Set aside and mash.
* Step 3
In a pan heat oil add chopped ginger, chopped onions, cumin seeds and fry for 1-2 mins. Add chopped green chilli and mashed Dal. Add salt and cook until well done. Set aside to cool
* Step 4
For Spinach Kachori - wash the spinach and blanch. Make a purée and set aside
* Step 5
In a bowl add Maida, spinach purée, oil and salt and mix well to make a soft dough.
* Step 6
Roll with a rolling pin like a roti and with a knife cut lengthwise and set aside.
* Step 7
In a wok heat oil and fry the Kachori. Set aside
* Step 8
Make the Raita by whisking the yoghurt, red chilli powder and roasted cumin powder and Rock salt.
* Step 9
To plate and food style take a juice glass, add the filling, add the Raita and then add the Kachori. Enjoy
