Cheese Pakode

#week3of5 Cheese is loved by most people and anything made with cheese tastes heavenly.

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 people

Cooking time :

Preparation time -10 mins, Cooking time-15 mins

Cheese

4 Tbsp

besan

1/2 tsp

cumin powder

as per taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Make a coarse powder of black pepper and coriander seeds in a mortar & pestle.

* Step 2

In a bowl add besan and add cumin powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander-black pepper coarse powder, baking soda, asafoetida and salt. Mix well.

* Step 3

Add water to the mix and keep whisking so that there is no lump. Consistency should not be watery. Should not be too thick or else add water.

* Step 4

In a wok add little oil and heat. Dip the cheese slices into the besan and shallow fry. The cheese slices should not be in room temperature but cool.

* Step 5

Fry well on both sides and put it in a kitchen towel to excess oil incase there is.

* Step 6

Eat with hummus
