Ingredient

100 gms

milk powder

1/2 teaspoon

baking powder

1 Tablespoon

ghee melted

700 gms

Sugar

3 cups

sugar

3 cups

water

1/2 teaspoon

cardamon powder

3-4 strands

saffron

1 teaspoon

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Sieve together milk powder, baking powder and all-purpose flour add add ghee and milk little by little to form a dough. Donot knead it. Just mix it together.

* Step 2

For small balls and start frying them in oil or ghee. Oil or ghee should be medium hot. Once the gulab Jamuns start cooking slow down the gas flame and fey on low heat.

* Step 3

For the sugar syrup, boil sugar and water. Add milk and take out the impurities out. Add saffron and cardamom and switch off the gas.

* Step 4

Add the fried gulab jamuns immediately to the sugar syrup. Keep the jamuns covered and serve warm or chilled.
