Nerikiri Wagashi: "Suisen flowers"
"Suisen" (Narcissus) is a flower from winter to spring .We arrenge "Suisen flowers" with Matsu (pine) & Senryo (Sarcandra) for celebrating the New Year. Try to make"Suisen flowers "with Nerikiri and Kuro-an (bean jam)!
Cooking instructions
* Step 3
Divide the dough into each part. Knead the Nerikiri-dough to make it smooth. Colorize each part; a yellow dough for the Petals and a smaller orange one for the Center.
* Step 4
Wrap the red bean jam with the Yellow dough. And make it round and squash it a little.
* Step 5
Make 6 ditches from the bottom to the top. (Divide it into 6 equal.)
* Step 6
Pinch each part to make pointed ends of 6 petals.
* Step 7
Press & stretch each petal to periphery side.
* Step 8
Make a round dent in the center.
* Step 9
Put lines between petals. And put a center line in the each petal.
* Step 11
Put the center part on the center of the flower. Then it's finished!
