Chicken Drumettes with Homemade Rub (Slow Cooker/Crockpot Recipe)

I got half a kilo of cheap drumettes and I wanted to make something simple for dinner last night. You can use your own version of homemade rub. I shared a version of mine here: https://cookpad.com/us/recipes/1661115-my-own-version-of-homemade-rub -- but for this recipe, I used another homemade rub -- https://cookpad.com/us/recipes/2667371-mild-homemade-rub

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings
500 gr

chicken drumettes

3 tbsp

homemade rub

1

carrot, peeled and chopped to your liking

1/2

onion, chopped to your liking (I used red onion)

1 tbsp

oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Pour oil to the slow cooker. Arrange onion, then carrot in it.

* Step 2

Rub the chicken with homemade rub. Arrange on top of the onion and carrot.

* Step 3

Cook HIGH for 3 hours. Switch to WARM for about 15 minutes before serving.
