Strawberry Basundi

Basundi, a popular and easy Indian cooling drink combined with the goodness of strawberries, makes it even more delicious and healthy

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add the milk to a heavy bottom saucepan and bring it to a boil

* Step 2

Once boiling, reduce heat and add the sugar

* Step 3

Mix and let the milk simmer until slightly thick and the sugar completely dissolved

* Step 4

Once done, take off heat and let cool completely

* Step 5

Rinse and purée the strawberries meanwhile

* Step 6

Sieve the purée to discard the tiny seeds

* Step 7

Once the milk is completely cooled, add the strawberry purée and mix well until well combined

* Step 8

Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes prior to serving
