* Step 4
Add the eggs next and whisk hard/well until the sugar is well dissolved in the batter
* Step 5
Finally sieve in the flour bit by bit to create a gooey cake mixture
* Step 6
The mixture should be like a normal cake mix(not very runny, but not too thick either)
* Step 7
Pour in the batter upto half the capacity of your mould
* Step 8
Place the cake moulds in the steamer and steam cook for 10-12 minutes on Low heat
* Step 9
Check by inserting a knife or toothpick, to see if the steamed cakes are ready
* Step 10
Take off the steamer once done and let cool and then unmould
* Step 11
Enjoy warm if you like freshly steamed cakes or refrigerate them to have them chilled. Enjoy!
* Step 12
Tip:If using plain all purpose flour, add a teaspoon of baking powder to the batter. Do not over steam, or else the cakes would harden from within, instead of being fluffy. You can steam using both, silicon moulds or paper cups
