Maja Blanca is a traditional Filipino dessert made primarily from coconut milk, cornstarch, and sugar. It has a smooth, creamy texture and is often referred to as coconut pudding. The dish is typically served during special occasions and holidays.

4 cups (1 liter)

Coconut Milk

1 cup (125 grams)

Cornstarch

3/4 cup (150 grams)

Sugar

1/2 cup

Peanut

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix the coconut milk and cornstarch in a pot until smooth.

* Step 2

Add sugar and sweet corn (if using), and cook over medium heat, stirring continuously.

* Step 3

Pour in evaporated and condensed milk (if using), and continue stirring until the mixture thickens.

* Step 4

Transfer to a mold and let it cool until set.

* Step 5

Top with crashed peanuts before serving.
