Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Firstly, wash the poha 2-3 times.
* Step 2
Transfer the washed poha in a large mixing bowl. To it add rava, yogurt, salt and one cup water and mix it well. Cover and set it aside to rest for 5 minutes.
* Step 5
In a blender jar add the soaked mixture and a cup of water and blend it into a fine paste.
* Step 6
Transfer this blended mixture into a large bowl. The batter to make dosas is ready. The batter consistency should be flowing. There is no need to rest this batter. You can make instant dosas out of it by adding fruit salt or baking soda.
* Step 7
Add fruit salt just before making the dosas for a fluffy and tasty treat. If the entire batter is not required to be used at one moment, then add the fruit salt and little water to half the quantity of the batter and mix it well.
* Step 8
Heat a non-stick pan on low flame. Add a drop of oil. Brush it at the center of the pan and wipe it off with a paper towel. Pour half cup of the batter. Do not touch or spread the batter. Cover and cook on low flame. When the batter has become completely dry it means that the dosa is cooked. Do not flip the dosa. Remove it from the pan and transfer it on a baking paper.
* Step 10
Soft and Spongy Poha Dosas are ready. Enjoy these instant dosas with flavorful potato masala and instant coconut chutney made with coconut powder.
