Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil in a pan. Add the chopped onions, green chillies and curry leaves and saute until translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell leaves. Add turmeric powder, fish masala and salt and saute for few minutes. Add the tuna chunks alongwith the oil and saute breaking the tuna chunks into small pieces. When all the moisture is absorbed, switch off the flame and set it aside to cool down completely.

Next add the chopped coriander leaves to the prepared tuna filling and mix it well. The tuna filling for the tuna chops is now ready.

Now to prepare the outer covering for the tuna chops. Wash, steam, peel and mash or grate the potatoes. Add the chopped coriander leaves and salt and mix it well.

Now to prepare the tuna chops, take a portion of the potato mix and roll it into a ball. Flatten it to form a thick disc on the palm of your hand. Place a spoonful of the tuna filling in the center and bring the sides of the potato disc up and over the filling to cover it well. Flatten it slightly and give it a chop shape.

Pour breadcrumbs into a plate. Coat the chops with the breadcrumbs making sure that the tuna chop is well coated. Heat some oil in a frying pan. Carefully place the chop in the hot oil and shallow fry until golden brown on either sides.

Delicious Tuna Chops are ready. Serve them warm.
