Rava Potato Fingers

Rava or semolina potato fingers taste delicious and the finger shape makes it an appealing snack to kids and adults as well.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Boil 1/2 cup water.Soak rava with just enough water to just cover it.Cover and set aside for 15 minutes.Cut potato into 4 pieces and boil or pressure cook 3 whistles.It should be just soft but not mushy.Drain water.Grate potato with a grater.Mix soaked rava and all the dry and wet masala.Add 1 tbsp flour and 2-3 tbsp bread crumbs or as needed.Add chaat masala and knead into a tight dough.
* Step 2
Take a lemon sized portion of the dough.Smear oil in palm and shape each ball into fingers.Toss them in flour.Shake off excess flour and refrigerate for an hour.Adjust green and red chillies or omit according to child's need.
* Step 3
Heat 1 cup oil in a pan and fry the semolina potato fingers till crispy brown.Serve hot as a tea time snack or appetizer with salad and tomato sauce.
